Marty, his wife Diana, and their son Caleb moved to Cape Cod in 2007 from the Chicopee area of Western Massachusetts, where Marty previously owned and operated Halvorsen Construction, specializing in additions, second-story expansions, and residential remodeling projects.Marty began his construction career in 1984 working on a framing crew, building the foundation of the skills and work ethic that still guide the company today. As the construction industry evolved through the late 1980s and early 1990s, he expanded into complete exterior shell construction and eventually full-service remodeling from frame to finish.In 2003, Marty earned his Massachusetts Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License and Home Improvement Contractor License. In 2005, he also became a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Over the years, he has continued advancing his education and professional certifications, including Lead Paint Certification and OSHA 30 Certification, while staying current on the latest products and installation methods designed to protect and improve homeowners’ investments.With more than 25 years of business ownership and over 42 years of hands-on construction experience as of 2026, Marty believes the most important part of any project is listening to the customer, protecting the home, and doing exactly what you promise to do.
